City of Broken Arrow launches new app – FOX23 News

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — The City of Broken Arrow has launched a new app for smartphones and tablets.

The My broken arrow center of action allows users to view upcoming events in Broken Arrow, make utility payments, apply for permits, report non-emergency issues and more.

“Our goal was to create an app that meets the needs of our citizens in a way that benefits them,” said City Manager Michael Spurgeon.

The application allows users to perform the following actions:

  • Report non-emergency issues such as potholes, missing pets and more
  • Apply for or renew a permit or license from the City
  • See a calendar of city events
  • See dining, shopping, and lodging options in Broken Arrow
  • Connect with city councilors and city leaders
  • See the interactive map of the City’s projects
  • Read the latest headlines in the City News section

“We pride ourselves on providing first-class customer service to our community and this new app is an extension of that commitment. My broken arrow center of action makes it easier for people to make a payment, fill out an application, or find things to do in our community. But that doesn’t replace the personal connection with city staff,” Spurgeon said.
